About the Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 900
Pen batteries are popular for a reason. They’re slim, simple and easy to carry. The problem is most of them have small batteries and no way to see what’s going on. The Pro Pen Neo 900 fixes both.
The 900mAh battery is big for a pen this size, so moderate users can go a full day on one charge. The colour screen shows your voltage, battery level and how long you’ve been heating, so there’s no guessing with blinking lights.
If you want a classic stick battery but with more power and more control, the Neo 900 is the one to get. Want something smaller? Check out the Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 650 or Pro Pen Neo 400.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 900
Build Quality and Materials
The Neo 900 has a soft-touch finish that feels nice to hold and doesn’t slip around in your hand. It’s slim and light, so it fits in a pocket the same way a regular pen would.
The build feels solid for a pen battery in this price range. The screen is bright and easy to read, and the single button is easy to find without looking.
How does it work?
Everything runs off one button:
- Turn on/off: Click the button 5 times quickly.
- Vape: Press and hold the button while you inhale.
- Preheat: Click the button 2 times to warm up your cart.
- Change voltage: Click the button 3 times to move to the next setting.
- Charge: Plug in the included USB-C cable. It’s fully charged when the battery indicator on the screen shows a full set of bars.
Screw your cart on snug but don’t overtighten it. If a cart isn’t hitting, wipe the 510 connection with a cotton swab and a bit of isopropyl alcohol to clear any residue.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- 900mAh lasts a full day for most people
- Colour screen shows voltage, battery and heating time
- Slim, pocket-friendly pen design
- Preheat for thick oils
- Simple one-button controls
Cons
- Five preset voltages instead of fine-tuned control
- Tops out at 3.7V, so it’s not built for huge clouds
- Cart sits exposed on top
- Button activated only, there’s no draw-activation
Temperature Settings
The Neo 900 uses voltage instead of exact temperatures. Each step up sends more heat to your coil.
- 2.1V to 2.5V: Best for flavour. Great for live resin and terp-heavy carts.
- 2.9V: A balanced setting that works well for most oil carts.
- 3.3V to 3.7V: Thicker vapour and better for thick oils, but can get harsh on some carts.
Start low and work your way up. If your oil is thick or your cart’s been sitting in the cold, run the preheat first.
Warranty
The Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 900 comes with a 90-day warranty from the day it arrives. If something goes wrong in that time, send us a short video showing the issue. Once it’s confirmed defective, a replacement gets shipped out and there’s no need to send the original back.
