About the Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 400
The Neo 400 is made for people who vape occasionally and want something light and simple. It’s the easiest of the three Neo batteries to carry around, and it still has the features that make the series stand out, like the colour screen and adjustable voltage.
It’s also a great pick if you’re new to cart batteries and don’t want to spend more on a big battery you won’t use. Just screw on your cart, turn it on with 5 clicks, and you’re good to go.
If you vape more often, you’ll get more time between charges with the Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 650 or Pro Pen Neo 900.

Everything Else You Need to Know About the Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 400
Build Quality and Materials
The Neo 400 has a slim, lightweight pen body that slips into any pocket. Cartisan is a well-known name in cart batteries, and the Neo 400 feels solid and well put together for an entry-level price.
How does it work?
Here’s how to use the Neo 400:
- Attach your cart: Screw any 510 cartridge onto the top. Snug is enough, don’t overtighten.
- Turn on/off: Click the button 5 times quickly.
- Vape: Press and hold the button while you inhale.
- Preheat: Click the button 2 times to warm up your cart.
- Turn it up: Click the button 3 times to move to the next voltage setting.
- Charge: Plug in the included USB-C cable. It’s full when the screen shows a full set of battery bars.
With a 400mAh battery, it’s best for light use. Most occasional users will be fine for a day or two, but if you vape often, plan on charging it more regularly.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightest and most compact battery in the Neo series
- Colour screen shows voltage, battery and heating time
- Preheat for thick oils
- Easy to use, great for beginners
- Simple one-button controls
Cons
- Smallest battery, so frequent users will charge more often
- Five preset voltages, not fine-tuned control
- Cart sits exposed on top
- Button activated only
Temperature Settings
The Neo 400 uses voltage rather than exact temperatures. More voltage means more heat to your coil.
- 2.1V to 2.5V: Best for flavour and smooth hits. A good place to start.
- 2.9V: A solid middle setting for most carts.
- 3.3V to 3.7V: More vapour and better for thick oils, but it uses more battery and can taste harsh on some carts.
Start low and click up one setting at a time. Run the preheat if your oil is thick or the cart’s been sitting in the cold.
Warranty
The Cartisan Pro Pen Neo 400 comes with a 90-day warranty from the day it arrives. If something goes wrong in that time, send us a short video showing the issue. Once it’s confirmed defective, a replacement gets shipped out and there’s no need to send the original back.
